Who we are
Alcove Home Care is a home care service operated by DuShine Solutions Inc., a company registered in Ontario, Canada. DuShine Solutions Inc. also trades under other names for other services. These terms apply to your use of this website.
Using this website
This website provides information about non-medical home care services. It is not medical advice and it is not an emergency service. If you or another person has an emergency, dial 911 or contact the appropriate emergency service in your area.
Enquiries and quotes
Sending the quote form starts a conversation. It gives us information so we can understand your enquiry and reply. No service is booked, no amount is agreed, and no contract exists until both sides confirm the arrangement in writing.
Our services
Alcove Home Care provides non-medical support, including personal care, companionship, dementia support, respite, overnight and live-in support, and hospital-to-home support. Care is delivered by caregivers to clients in the Greater Toronto Area and Simcoe County.
We do not provide nursing, physiotherapy, or any other regulated medical treatment. Clinical questions belong with a physician or another regulated health professional. A caregiver may support a person with everyday activities, but this website does not direct or replace clinical care.
Fees and payment
Fees are discussed privately and are not published on this website. Any amounts, billing arrangements, and payment details that apply to a client are set out in the service agreement. Invoices for Alcove Home Care services are issued by DuShine Solutions Inc.
Changes and cancellations
Arrangements for changing or ending services are set out in your service agreement. Please talk with us as early as you can when plans change, so we can discuss what is possible and coordinate care responsibly.
Privacy
We handle personal information as described on our privacy page. The privacy page explains the information we collect through this website, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
Accuracy
We work to keep this website accurate and update it when information changes. Where we use public guidance, we cite the source. Guidance can change over time, so please check the linked source when it matters to a decision. The page date above shows when this page was last updated.
